Youth with a Mission Nicaragua

YWAM Nicaragua can assist you in planning a Short Term missions trip in Nicaragua for your church group. We can serve as a point of contact for your plans and assist in coordinating your arrival, ground transportation, meals/accomodations, and departure. Depending on the type and timing of your ministry, staff may be available for translating and other assistance (if necessary).

What to Expect in ministry

• to encounter friendly, receptive people who have many spiritual, emotional, and physical needs
• to have opportunities to serve through evangelism, Bible distribution, and through hands-on assistance in construction and other mercy ministries
• to be challenged in your life and thinking regarding missions and God's eternal plans and purposes

What to Expect in expenses

• round-trip airfare to/from Managua International Airport (MGA)
• probably $US20+ per day for food and housing (depending on location, etc..)
• ground transportation costs (very reasonably priced in Central America)
• ministry materials (Bibles, construction materials, etc..)
• airport departure tax of $US32
• personal items and gifts

We can help you estimate your total expenses upon discussing your desired ministry plans and location(s).

What to Expect of us

Our ambition is merely to help your team minister and work together through assisting in coordinating your visit. We want you to have your own personal opportunities and experiences. We can arrange hospital visitations, prison ministry, school programs, etc.. for you, based on your desires and group giftings. Of course we would also like, at the same time, to

• introduce you to the lives of Nicaraguans
• provide exposure to ministry through missions
• introduce you to YWAM Nicaragua and what God is calling us to do
