We are a ministry of YWAM International
founded in 1960. YWAM has thousands of volunteers on more than 1,000 centers, located in 180+ nations. We have served in Nicaragua since December 1989. Our mission is to model missions, multiply missionaries with biblical principles through our training programs, and mobilize missions from Nicaragua and other nations to KNOW GOD and MAKE HIM KNOWN to the nations by serving, evangelizing, and teaching biblical principles.

A Love Story

"The people are warm, and family oriented. They will give you food or drinks when they have less than the average American can even imagine. If you smile in passing, or better still, if you smile and call, "Adios!" you will almost certainly receive a smile and greeting in return. In the evenings in the center of town, people pull out their unique to Nicaragua rocking chairs on to the sidewalks to talk. What else would they do? Relationships are everything here. Everything. There is always time for family and friends."
